Repurposing PCB Assembly Machines

In line with our Sustainability Goals we recently decommissioned and repurposed 3 PCB assembly machines at our Shannon HQ. With a total service life of 55 years, these machines were instrumental in the assembly of the printed circuit boards used in our smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.

Established partner of Ei, Maxem Engineering sourced a new owner for the equipment in Northern Italy. We are pleased that the machines now have a new home and the prospect of many good years of service ahead of them.
